Since our founding in 2019, The Short Grass Foundation has developed and grown in a positive direction. We’re very proud of the diversity of our staff, and their abilities to contribute their own unique experience and skills to our success. Find out more about some of our team members below.
TOM GRAVES
Co-Founder & President
Tom created The Short Grass Foundation in May of 2019 with the vision and drive to get the Foundation up-and-running. Tom is focused on growing and developing the Foundation into an organization that will make a difference in the lives of college golfers all over the nation.

In 2020, the Board of Directors approved an expansion of the organization to include employees to help fundraise and oversee the development of The Player's Lounge, a network of indoor golf simulators around the state of Oregon. With the completion of The Player's Lounge - Salishan in late 2020 and the success of the location since then, the foundation now has plans to expand to a second simulator location in Salem in the Spring of 2024.
ANDREW GROVE
Head Golf Professional
Andrew was hired in January of 2023. Andrew's golf skills and expertise are sure to help collegiate golfers, members, and local residents take their game to the next level. You will be able to find Andrew providing golf instruction in The Player's Lounge, or out playing golf at Salishan Golf Links.
