Congrats to the recipient of the 2022 Strite Family Scholarship:
BRAYDEN SPARKMAN!

The 2022 Strite Family Scholarship was awarded to Brayden Sparkman, a graduate from West Salem High School in Salem, Ore. He has just began his collegiate journey at Corban University, pursuing a 4-year degree in Business Administration and is competing on the Men's Golf Team. Brayden was a late-bloomer to the game of golf and we could not be happier to come beside him and help support his golf goals, dreams, & desires!
The 2nd Annual Strite Family Scholarship
will be awarded in the spring of 2023
One of the main objectives of The Short Grass Foundation is to provide a scholarship fund for college golfers who have a passion for the game of golf, a desire to work hard & improve their game, & who demonstrate financial need. The funds that will be awarded to the scholarship recipients will be used for tuition and golf equipment to assist educational and athletic advancement.

The 2023 Strite Family Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior (male or female) who is pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited college or university and who plans to compete on the institution's intercollegiate golf team. The winner of this scholarship will demonstrate financial need, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the game of golf. This is a $1,000 annual scholarship award towards tuition OR a $2,000 annual scholarship award towards golf equipment (at retail value). This scholarship is renewable for up to 3 additional years if the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criteria.
